Description:
This is a design and build project in which SIAC are responsible for the
construction of all the civil engineering and building works including the
mechanical and electrical works associated with the construction of a
materials recovery facility at Ballymount in Dublin.
This facility will process waste collected from Dublin City Council,
Fingal County Council, Fingal County Council, South Dublin County Council and
Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
This MRF will have the capacity of processing 100.000 tones of dry
recyclable material (paper, cardboard, plastics, aluminium and steel cans,
etc) per year.
The scope of the works includes the construction of the following:

Input building with a floor area of 1341m2

Process building with a floor area of 3967m2

Baled building with a floor area of 1125m2

Two storey administration building with a floor area of 520m2

Weighbridges and weighbridge building

Mechanical and electrical works
