Description:

This is a design and build project for the upgrading of the recently constructed Balbriggan & Skerries wastewater treatment plant (phase 1) from its original design capacity of 30,000 PE to 70,000 PE.

The project included the construction of the following:

• Construction of a large in-situ concrete SBR tank
• Construction of a UV treatment unit
• Interconnecting pipework
• Ducting works
• Road construction
• Landscaping works
• Sewer diversion works
