Description:
Phase 2A works include the construction of new 2,200 car park spaces at
Carrickmines including boundary treatment, crossovers and stone surfacing.
This work commenced in November 2005 and was completed on time for the
Christmas Festival.
New reservoir adjoining the existing including perimeter fencing, pumps
and pipework. Hardcore surfacing to 120 space car park between tennis dome and
the South Eastern Motorway. Boundary works to Glencairn car park.
Phase 2B works include resurfacing of existing Glencairn car
park, resurfacing and grading of the HRI car park, re grading and surfacing f
the ICON Car park, completion of link road from the South Eastern Motorway,
resurfacing of existing road from link to ramp over the South Eastern
Motorway, upgrading of infrastructure, new external lighting and new entrance
gates to link road from the South Eastern Motorway.
