Description:

This project which commenced in September 2001 involved the construction of a seven span composite precast / in-situ concrete bridge crossing a railway and a canal with associated roadworks, earthworks, embankments and realigning walls.

The roadwork's comprised of approximately 800 linear meters of distributor road, consisting of flexible carriageway pavement, earthworks, surface water drainage, footpaths and cycle paths, traffic signs and road markings, street lighting.

Earthworks comprised of excavations in domestic waste fill and limestone rock for construction of the structural foundations. Embankments, constructed in suitable fill material were required at the approaches to the structure.
