Description:

The scope of the contract included;

• Cleaning and refurbishment of the cast iron bridge and granite features
• Temporary support of the entire structure from rock bearings piles anchored in the River Liffey bedrock
• Removal of old and the placing of four new girders
• Construction of the new deck with LRT pedestal tracks with associated stray current connection mats
• Temporary division of ESB cables away from the structure and replacement in the re-constructed bridge deck
