Description:

• Construction of approximately 14kms of 2x2 lane motorway plus hard shoulders with 12km of side roads
• Construction of grade separated interchanges at Gormanstown and Drogheda South.
• Construction of 9 overbridges and 2 underbridges.
• Contractor designed river and railway bridges.
• Provision of tolling infrastructure comprising a toll plaza with five lanes in each direction, toll building, kiosks and tunnel.
• Removal of mineral deposits and reinstatement of 30ha to agricultural use. Works carried out under exemptions from planning, waste permits and disposal licences.
