Description:
-
Complex systems of existing and new underground pipelines, ducting and
utilities including water, gas, telecommunication, electricity, traffic
signals, broadband, CCVT and NTL.

Significant phased traffic management schemes to facilitate the construction
sequence and CIE’s bus schedules and routes and the transforming of the
trafficked area along the Skeffington Arms side of Eyre Square to a
pedestrianised zone.

The upgrading of the Galway city drainage system under live flow conditions.

Progressing the works in and around sites of significant archaeological
significance while accommodating the project archaeologists.

The co-ordination and management of specialist subcontractors and suppliers to
meet the phasing and constraints of the programme.

The provision of amenities and play areas, hard-landscaping and street
furniture, turfing, landscaping and associated works.

Management of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in and about the works
