Description

GSK Vaccines is one of the world’s leading vaccine manufacturers and from its Belgium headquarters, it conducts research, development, production and sales activities.  

This new bulk vaccine manufacturing facility is a greenfield building within GSK Biologicals’ Wavre site.  The 14,300 sqm facility will meet FDA and EMEA regulatory requirements and contains over 3,000 sqm of classified space.

SIAC Roofing & Cladding installed all Roofing and Glazing elements throughout the building including perimeter external doors.

The roofs built up consist of Arcelor Mittal steel deck, Permate Ultra Vapour barrier, Eraboard Perlite Roof Insulation Board 2 Layers of Waterproofing Imper Italia Roof membrane.

The Glazing system was made of Schuco thermally broken structural glazed curtain walling system that includes all fixings and interfaces required. The Glass built up consist of 6 mm Outer pane stopray silver, 16mm air space (Argon Filled) and Inner pane to be 6mm toughened and heat soaked safety glass.
