Description

The works involved the installation of new services and the diversion of existing services that were along the 2km route of the new LUAS extension from Connolly station to the Point Depot.

This involved very detailed traffic and pedestrian management to be agreed with DCC, IFSC and other interested bodies and then the installation and maintainance. The vast majority of the works involved working at substantial depth (up to 7m deep) in close proximity to existing buildings in the installation of the new services.

Also there was close working with the different utility companies such as DCC water and Drainage, Bord Gais, ESB, Eircom and many others in organising the commissioning and diversion of the new services.
