SIAC complete upgrade to 11 LUAS Green line Stations

SIAC Construction Ltd completed the upgrade to the 11 LUAS green line stations in December 2017 well ahead of the scheduled introduction of the longer trams.

SIAC Construction were contracted with Transport Infrastructure Ireland to upgrade and extend the 11 LUAS stations from Harcourt street station to Stillorgan station.

The works involved the extending of the existing platforms and construction of new pedestrian crossings in the stations so the new platforms can cater for the longer trams that are due to be introduced in early 2018.
The works also included an electrical upgrade in the stations.
