N56 Kiltoy Roundabout, Donegal

Description

The project is located on the N56 at Kiltoy in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, and involved the construction of a new roundabout to replace the existing T-junction. The project also involved the construction of a new section of the N56 through a brown-field site as well as the regrading and realignment of existing sections of the heavily trafficked N56.

The following works were included:
      - Temporary traffic management
      - Diversion of utility services
      - Bulk excavation
      - Laying of new watermains 
      - Laying of new sewers
      - Laying of new ducting
      - Laying of new road drainage 
      - Laying of new kerbs and footways 
      - New road construction
